CKK Industries offers 2 sizes of thermoform molding steel presses in the bench model. These durable and straight forward presses are available in 8in x 12in and 8in x 24in models to meet the need for any size holster and sheath molding project. Our CKK holster molding presses are built from rugged ¼ inch steel plates with full black surface coating, and will last a lifetime. Designed by experts, the CKK sheath/holster molding presses are the industry standard in thermoplastic forming.

The CKK brand molding presses come with pre-drilled footer holes for easy workbench mounting and a removable top plate for quick height adjustment, making these presses highly versatile and easy to use. With the chain locking system for the top plate, you can set up your project and then walk away and do other processes while your heated KYDEX, HOLSTEX, or Boltaron sheet material is cooling into final form.

The CKK KYDEX Taco Press design is similar to a manual book press. It was engineered for the purpose of making 1-piece, taco-style KYDEX holsters and sheaths. The forming pressure is applied through the use of the two metal wing plates that are fixed in place by a standard 12 inch trigger clamp or other clamping devices (optional - not included). This model is simple in design, yet well-constructed. It is made from high-quality materials, such as quarter inch plate steel. The Metal Taco Press is powder coated in black to create a durable and scratch resistant outer surface. The base of the wooden unit is glued and screwed for maximum durability. Each screw on the base is recessed to minimize bench top scratching.

With the ability to press flat-faced (one-sided) or a full fold-over (wrapped style) sheaths and holsters, these forming presses offer customization using your choice of HOLSTEX forming foams. The Maxx Form holster molding foam is designed for medium to high detail and is the standard for thermoform molding applications. Mega Form takes it a step up the scale regarding the detail of the finished piece. Xtreme Form thermoforming holster making foam is the pinnacle of thermoforming foam products and produces the best results in all press-form applications.

These HOLSTEX molding foams have been specifically engineered for use in presses for molding sheet materials like HOLSTEX, KYDEX, and Boltaron. Unlike common foam molding products, this material has a much improved overall production performance in the fabrication cycle. These foams can also be used on both sides, unlike other products.
